de Gaspé is a minimalist house located in Montreal, Canada, designed by la SHED architecture. The architects recognized that it would be futile to implement a full restoration, thus converting certain elements within the facade into a contemporary aesthetic to seamless mesh with the original structure. The internal programs feature an open floor plan with custom wood elements that serve as both functional and sculptural purposes.
