Detached House with Showroom is a minimalist house located in Bregenz, Austria, designed by Bregenz, Austria. There were two major hurdles that proved difficult for the completion of this project. Firstly, the site is located on a long and narrow terrain with direct exposure to the municipal road. Second, the incorporation of both a house and a commercial space in a homogeneous structure was a requirement. Through careful positioning, the building looks discreet and inconspicuous. The elongated shape with precisely positioned openings integrate into the natural and urban landscape in a harmonious but assertive fashion.
