Fauve – L’Abreuvoir is a minimalist house located in Paris, France, designed by CUT Architectures. The display system is inspired by the efficiency of the museum storage facilities and the dry cleaning automated racks. Hanged to a rail, 20 gridded cage slide along the exhibition space in order to provide the best set-up for a given thematic auction sale exhibition. Each display element turns 360°. Steel elements can be adjusted on the grid to support shelves, clothes hangers, art-pieces. When comes the auction sale all the display elements are stacked together at one end of the rail releasing a vacant space hosting 60 seats facing the auctioneer desk. Integrated and mobile display cabinets protect the most fragile pieces exhibited.
