Frame House is a minimal residence located in Minorca, Spain, designed by Nomo Studio. As the name suggests, large openings along the concrete facade frame the ocean landscape. Informed by the sloping topography of the site, the building was positioned to maximize the views toward the Mediterranean Sea. The master bedroom is the only bedroom situated on the upper level, while the other bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The roof is constructed of prefabricated hollow core slabs, while the rest of the building is constructed in concrete. Concrete was the material of choice as it is capable of withstanding harsh weathering.
