Furukawashiko Office is a minimalist house located in Gifu, Japan, designed by Okuwada Architects Office. The client is a paper craft firm specializing in traditional Japanese mino washi paper. The internal programs are organized in “L” shape configurations, each of which face courtyard. The upper level provides views of the nearby Itatori River, which the architects provided with large windows.
