haus-slou is a minimalist residence located in Kyoto, Japan, designed by Yamane Tetsuya. The interior consists mainly of wood, outfitted with custom-built cabinetry and a unique wood-paneled sloping ceiling. The main living space opens up to the interior courtyard via a series of sliding glazed doors. Tatami mats are placed on a slightly elevated floor, separating itself from the rest of the space.
