House of Approval is a minimalist house located in Nagoya, Japan, designed by Mamiya Shinichi Design Studio. The site of the residence is situated on a 7m hill with the lower level hidden from street view. By taking advantage of the topography, the structure not only maximizes its square footage, but is better poised for the incredible view of the cityscape as well. Black vertical panels overlay the exterior, and a contrasting light wood material is used throughout the interior.
