House Connecting the Town is a minimalist residence located in Aichi, Japan, designed by Studio Velocity. The home is characterized by a glass unispan that connects two volumes together over a sloped topography. Both volumes feature sliding glazed doors that provide access to the backyard terrace. The elevated portions provide privacy from not only the volumes themselves, but from street view as well.
