House in Daitakubo is a minimalist residence located in Saitama, Japan, designed by Komoda Architects. The home is characterized by a metal spiral staircase and wooden accented ceilings and window frames. The main living area features slatted wooden floors that provide visual transparency to lower level. In addition, a Japanese room is carved out to provide the residents with a secluded area for relaxation.
