House in Nakauchi is a minimal home located in Maebashi, Japan, designed by SNARK. The residence is characterized by a semi-transparent volume that extends from the main building providing abundant natural light into the internal programs. The volume is separated through a series of glazed sliding partitions. A sloped roof allows for additional storage space above accessible through ladders. Copper and brass fittings are used to contrast against the natural wood structure.
