House in Kawanishi is a minimalist house located in Hyogo, Japan, designed by Tato Architects. The residence is stilted to provide the upper levels with a balcony. In order to increase privacy, the architects outfitted the ground level with a protective shell, and side entrance. Living spaces are situated on the ground floor with three bedrooms on the upper level. (14)
