House of Oike is a minimalist house located in Fukuoka, Japan, designed by Matsuyama Architect and Associates. The structure is composed mainly of concrete, which is kept exposed in both the interior and exterior facades. While the main level is comprised of slit windows in order to retain privacy, the upper levels are outfitted with large floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the cityscape. (6)
