House in Shitomido is a minimalist residence located in Kyoto, Japan, designed by Sawada Hashimura Studio and constructed by TANK. The bedroom features a custom built storage space that opens up via a series of sliding wooden doors to reveal shelving and a bench underneath the window. A portion of the home is cantilevered to provide covered parking. Unshaped natural wood are utilized for the bedroom’s beams.
