House in Toyonaka is a minimalist residence located in Osaka, Japan, designed by Tato Architects. The architects found it difficult to deal with architectural elements such as stairs and handrails that don’t have direct relation to the main architectural composition. The designers experimented on the possibility of creating an interior that would have dynamic abstractness, enabling the space to become more settled once activities and objects were mixed in.
