House in Yokkaichi is a minimalist residence located in Mie, Japan, designed by SYAP. The house is oriented toward the south with a window that wraps around the building to maximize natural lighting. The space consists mainly of wood, paneling a majority of the walls and ceiling. Lights and shadows are continuously shifting throughout the day due to the slit glazings and double-height ceilings.
