House YS is a minimalist house located in Mie, Japan, designed by Yamamori Architects & Associates. The gabled roof home is constructed mainly of wood, outfitted with a traditional internal courtyard with the living spaces surrounding the garden in a U shape. The interior consists mainly of wood, with warm backdrop lighting outlining certain features such as the staircase and ceiling.
