Kawasaki House is a minimalist residence located in Kanagawa, Japan, designed by Hatano Koji Architects. The rectangular site features a frontage of 4.5 meters, and a depth of 14 meters. Due to the narrow plot, the architects decided to extend the home vertically, creating a three-story structure with the ground level opened up to provide covered parking. The second level contains the kitchen and dining space, while the upper level consists of the bedrooms.
