Kyurasu is a minimalist residence and shop located in Aichi, Japan, designed by Atelier FUDO. The store and home combination features a private salon facing the North. The gabled roof is expressed within the interior as double-height ceilings for the main living space. Due to the proximity of the neighbors, the architects placed the bedrooms on the first floor instead of the upper level. The kitchen faces a series of large windows that allow light and wind coming from the South to enter the space.
