Lake House is a minimalist residence located in Steinbrunn, Austria, designed by Maximilian Eisenköck. The horseshoe-shaped building, with a floor space of 220m², is situated on the shores of a small lake which was created by flooding an open-cast mine in 1932. It is owned by the royal Esterházy family. The center of the building is a courtyard, which is enclosed by three sides of the building, and only opens for the water and the evening sunset.
