N-65 is a minimalist house located in Kagawa, Japan, designed by +Aao. The architects wanted to maintain the privacy of the residents, and created a series of inner courtyards in order to provide natural lighting without having the interior visually exposed. Due to the harsh winters, the building also features high thermal insulation to maintain temperatures. The main living area features double-height ceilings with large glazings on two adjacent walls.
