Nakasone Sports Trainers is a minimalist building located in Kagawa, Japan, designed by Junichi Kato & Associates. The project is a one-story wooden building used as an osteopathic clinic in Takamatsu City. At the request of the client, a former professional baseball trainer, the architects created a multi-purpose space that could be used not only for osteopathic treatment, but for stretching, training, and conducting seminars. By varying the gradient of the roof in a single, unpartitioned rectangular space, they attempted to create a unique character for each area.
