Nishihisashi House is a minimalist residence located in Kanagawa, Japan, designed by Kengaku. The home is situated close to the ocean, and features a large Cherry tree to the north. The architects wanted to maximize sunlight from the south side on the upper level by outfitting the space with a series of windows of increasing size. The interior consists mainly of wood with portions of the ceiling and foundation exposed.
