PH Thames is a minimalist residence located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, designed by Alonso & Crippa. The original building is over a century old, and is situated in a historic residential neighborhood. The area is slowly transforming into a commercial zone, with shops occupying the ground floor. The home has an internal courtyard that provides abundant natural lighting within the space. Each window has a specific condition – either to frame a view of the exterior, to incorporate light, to provide ventilation or to create an interior-exterior connection.
