Plain Wooden House is a minimalist clinic located in Aichi, Japan, designed by ihrmk. It is a small clinic along a large national highway. Requests from the client were the following three points. Firstly, it had to be a building suitable for the new shop named “Grow”. It was named with the hope to make the clinic a place to help with patients’ growth. This request was to interpret the name into the space and materials. Secondly, the clients wanted the space to be multi-purpose, along with the ability to hold a variety of events. The third request was low cost.
