Pura is a minimalist house located in Miyazaki, Japan, designed by Takeshi Ishiodori Architecture. The residence is situated in a compact site, built for a four person family. The upper level contains a metal terrace that contrasts against red cedar ceiling above. The front facade limits the windows to two strips in order to protect the privacy of the residents. The upper level permits an entire wall to large sliding-door glazings.
