Renhouse is a minimalist house located in Nagano, Japan, designed by MTKarchitects. The architects focused on providing harmony between the residence and its surrounding environment and neighborhood. The gabled roof was designed as an inspiration from the sloping mountains from the beautiful surrounding landscape. Both heigh and form were continuously adjusted to the surroundings, simultaneously creating a unique aesthetic and character for the home as well.
