Row House in Ikunoku is a minimal renovation located in Osaka, Japan, designed by Taisuke Hayashi Architects. The site is situated in an urban downtown area, dense with old wooden houses. While the overall wooden structure was maintained, the building was outfitted with semi-transparent walls that filter abundant natural light into the space without compromise to privacy. In addition, a skylight over the main living space ensures ample lighting throughout the day.
