Säumerstrasse is a minimal home located in Thalwil, Switzerland, designed by HDPF. Concrete ceilings are contrasted by wooden floors and wooden-framed windows that overlook the lake and mountains beyond. The space features a balcony with corrugated aluminum paneling consistent to the exterior facade of the building. Entryways utilize the same wooden frame material seen on the windows, and provide visual markers for the separated programs.
