SOL et ARBOR & T-HOUSE is a minimalist residence located in Kanagawa, Japan, designed by KIZ Architects. The residence is for a family of four with a cafe that provides tea and baked goods. Requested by the clients, the architects created a terrace that the greenery would grow against in order to create a vertical garden. The upper level, where the family spends most of their time, is an open space with a terrace overlooking their neighbors. The wood construction brings about a warm atmosphere, as well as seamlessly integrating the custom built bookshelves.
