Tooridoma is a minimalist house located in Yokohama, Japan, designed by Uchida Yusuke Architect Atelier. The renovation is of a building constructed 25 years prior. Due to the density of the surrounding neighbors, the architects decided to open up the space in order to maximize natural light. The theme was centered around “light and wind,” which was manifested throughout the space with a focus on connections between the spaces.
