Two-Family House in Hachimanyama is a minimalist residence located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Atelier Hako Architects. The corner lot building occupies two families who share a bath and entrance. A portion of the windows are slightly opaque in order to gather natural lighting without compromise to privacy. A spiral staircase leads to the upper levels, which are illuminated by a series of skylights. Sliding doors provide access to the upper level balcony that overlooks the city.
