Five Ura House is a minimalist house located in Ibaraki, Japan, designed by LIFE STYLE KOUBOU. The site is surrounded by both the mountains and sea, with the residence itself cantilevered off the side of a slope. The architects purposefully chose wood as the structure’s foundation in order for the building to serve as an extension of the environment itself.
