Urban Beat is a minimalist residence located in Montreuil, France, designed by WY-TO architects. The main idea of this project was to extend the area of the family home. The client inherited the house from her grandfather, and prefers remaining at the residence to keep alive the memories of the family. It was decided to extend the vertical expansion using a wooden structure due its specificities: lightweight, easy and fast to assemble, clean construction, and environmental-friendly.
