YA-House is a minimalist residence located in Hyogo, Japan, designed by Kuboto Architect Atelier. The site is located on a slope near the top of a mountain in a residential area of Nishinomiya. There are some famous exclusive residential districts within the city, and this home belong to one of them. Since the city protects greenery, the clients planted many trees around the home to maintain a beautiful surrounding environment. Across the site is a 13 meter height difference that provides sweeping views of the sea from the upper level.
