10cm Table is a minimalist design created by Wisconson-based designer The Office for Lost Objects. Building off classic proportions and the most traditional table parts—leg, apron, top—the 10cm Table proposes a twist: only two legs are connected by one apron. Turning the archetype of a table on its head, it provides a little touch of magic to those who see it stand freely for the first time. The use of classic construction techniques also sees the legs and apron joined via mortise and tenon. Originally part of an inquiry into the contemporary nature of the dining table, the 10cm Table is perfect for bringing the warmth and character of solid wood into spaces otherwise too tight, narrow, or just too small.
