33 is a minimalist chair created by Copenhagen-based designer Mario Martinez. The juxtaposition of these materials creates a striking contrast, reminiscent of the simple yet functional chairs commonly found in rural areas, often placed outside to enjoy the coolness of dusk after a warm day. The chair’s proportions are thoughtfully designed, with thicknesses that evoke traditional carpentry work. Despite its seamless appearance, the chair is designed for flat-pack shipping, offering not only transport convenience but also the ability to replace worn parts, such as the woven seat, without needing to replace the entire chair.
