Anatole is a minimalist chair created by Switzerland-based designer Anthony Guex. At first sight, the Anatole chair has a basic appearance which gives him a familiar look. The particularity of this chair comes from these two bended wooden posts that go from the seat to the back rest. Borrowed from metal chair constructions, they are here reinterpreted in bentwood giving the chair its singular appearance. The parts in plywood that cover the seat and the backrest give the impression of being wrapping around the posts, thus giving the chair the impression of being made of solid wood.
