Arca is a minimalist chair created by Paris-based designer Patrick Norguet. For this first collaboration with Arflex Japan, the designers goal was to let the sensuality of the material speak for itself. They were able to maintain the balance, in this project, between superior Japanese know-how and the use of modern processes and very sophisticated digital tools. Arca is a chair made of unfinished wood, sculpted and polished, whose very essence literally rests on the beauty of the material. The high-tech system for assembling its wooden elements ensures both durability and elegance.
