Arcadia Chair is a minimalist chair created by Stockholm-based designer Nick Ross for ÅBEN. Arcadia is a collection of furniture based on simple intersecting sheets of solid wood. The formal language is a continuation of the Inlay series for Bloc Studios from 2018, which was done using intersecting marble slabs. By changing the material the design takes on a new character, moving from the high culture of the Italian Palazzos, to the modest vernacular of the Scottish Highlands.
