Arise Bench is a minimalist bench created by Copenhagen-based designers Jens Kajus and Claus Jakobsen of Million. Million upholds Scandinavian design tradition defined by human scale and functionalism. Due to the success of Arise Stool, launched in the autumn of 2016, the firm now introduce Arise Bench – the perfect seating furniture for the private entrance hall, the store, the hotel room or lobby. With a form insinuating the bottom of a staircase, Arise Bench plays with perceptions of geometry while being true to Million’s preferences for minimalism, functionalism, aesthetics and solid craftsmanship. Made in solid oak, Arise Bench comes in two variations all letting the lively wood shine through.
