Arthur Daybed is a minimalist daybed created by New York City-based designer Gregory Beson. Crafted primarily from rift white oak, the piece showcases a natural finish, lending it a raw yet refined look. The use of bouclé fabric and hand-painted canvas adds texture and a touch of bespoke craftsmanship. Acknowledging the diverse preferences of homeowners, the designers offer customization options. Clients can choose from a range of wood types and finishes, as well as various upholstery materials, including customer’s own material and leather. This flexibility ensures that the piece can be tailored to fit various interior themes and personal tastes. Originally conceived in walnut, this iteration represents an evolution in design. It’s conceived as a versatile seating option, ideal for transitional spaces in a home. Its design is particularly suited for open-plan layouts, where it can serve as a subtle divider without obstructing sightlines or disrupting the flow of the space.
