Bagnères is a minimal coffee table created by Brussels-based designer Sylvain Willenz. Bagnères, short for Bagnères- de-Bigorre, a town located at the foot of the Pyrenees. The name of this table was carefully chosen for the designer who has personal ties to the area. The table Bagnères is based on an ethereal, refined metallic structure which accentuates the imposing slabs of Carrara (white), Nero Marquina (black) or Dark Emperador marble. The removable serving tray adds a retro touch. The form and concept of the Bagnères coffee tables combine the idea of a minibar from the 1950’s and an classic, imposing coffee table all the while remaining welcoming, warm and practical. The Bagnères coffee tables are simple, practical, contemporary and versatile. The concept is based on an open, elegant well-proportioned structure which holds slabs of high quality marble or brass.
