Basic Lines for Living is a minimalist design created by Barcelona-based designer Preforma design. Basic Lines for Living is a collection of designer furniture hosting three basic functions sought in every household. The designers wanted to strip down each product to its essentials, using only lines to formalize objects – stripped furnishings satisfying selected basic needs. Pieces of the Basic Lines for Living collection work as a family, and acquire new functionalities when combined. Each of the pieces are handcrafted in steel. The weight is distributed through the same bars that inform us about the object’s function.
