Blackened Steel Dining Table is a minimalist dining table created by Los Angeles-based designer Jerome Byron. He designs environments shaped by an avid interest in cultural pressures, material conditions and collective knowledge. His approach is defined by a rigorous working method that yields playful discovery and unexpected forms, shifting expectations for the possibilities of a space or program. A hands-on knowledge of contemporary construction methods and craft along with an intuitive design sensibility inform his process. This dining table is made from a single sheet of 11 gauge hot rolled steel and a single 10-foot, 4 in. diameter tube stock.
