Useful Chair is a minimalist design created by Berlin-based designer Sanghyeok Lee. The chair is constructed of smoked oak and brass, and is currently being exhibited in Chamber NYC, curated by Andrew Zuckerman. Similar to the designer’s shelving system, the oak forms the seat’s foundation through a series of poles that interconnect and utilize brass hinging to both contrast the wood and hide the fasteners.
