Collection 01 is a minimalist furniture collection created by Mexico City-based atelier Disciplina Studio. The collection consists mainly of broken marble and granite slabs as a preface to explore how discarded material can be used as the main surface. When thinking of surfaces, the designer wanted to depart from straight planes and clean lines and instead create pieces that celebrate imperfect fractured sides and slanted angles. Chromatic steel was used as a stark contrast to further reveal the material of the surface.
