Craft 2.0 is a minimalist design created by The Netherlands-based designer Studio Renier Winkelaar. The designer has always had a fascination for old wood connection, especially the connections in old Dutch windmills. He loves the idea of how something with old techniques can become automated. Wooden gears with bridging technique and pen and hole connections are just a few highlights of what one can find in these mills. These techniques fascinated him so much that he wanted to use it in his brand new design. The table of 230 – 270 cm is made of oak and is only to put together by old connections.
