Flat Brown is a minimalist bench created by Netherlands-based designer Aldo Bakker for Carpenters Workshop Gallery. The bench has a flowing wave-like surface with each dip forming a seat. The limited edition piece is constructed of aluminum and urushi, a lacquer indigenous to Japan. From the side, the bench is deceivingly thin, with its profile extenuated through by the footrests on either side.
