Flip Pulpit is a minimalist multi-functional coffee table designed by practice Studio Röder. Created for a church pulpit, the piece features a minimalist structure made from aluminum components that can be assembled into a cross shape. The front panel is white and semi-transparent, offering a subtle visual effect. The aluminum surface, treated with local beeswax after being sanded, adds a tactile quality to the piece. When illuminated, the cross shape is reflected on the pulpit, creating a striking visual interaction with the light. Additionally, the pulpit can be folded, transforming into a functional bench when not in use.
