Frame is a minimalist shelf created by Japan-based designer Shinya Oguchi. Frame is a versatile shelf in which the shelf boards are inserted into the grid frames. The designer wanted to create a shelving system in which the user could rearrange the position of the shelf without any barriers. To achieve this, after making a lot of mock-ups, the structure was completely separated from the frame and the shelf board. Thanks to this structure, the shelf board can be placed in any position. The shelf board has an asymmetrical shape that can use both sides in order to adjust to the users needs. It has two variations, a leaning type, and a wall mounted type which is smaller.
